Data room website design for Virtual Vaults: from data room to deal execution platform

Virtual Vaults is moving beyond the legacy ‘data room’ category by repositioning its product as an end-to-end deal execution platform. Through clear messaging, UX strategy and a simplified interface, we cut through the technical clutter and refocused the experience on what mid-market advisors care about most: control, confidence and fewer surprises.

Research and positioning: less noise, more deals, no surprises

The research pointed to a core audience of mid-market dealmakers struggling with platform inefficiencies, last-minute chaos and clunky interfaces.

We helped crystallise the brand’s new positioning around three things: streamlining workflows, automating collaboration and offering audit-ready data from day one. That laid the foundation for a focused value proposition: “Less noise. More deals. No surprises.”

Website UI and UX design built on simplicity, control and ease of use

The design strategy focused on clarity, trust and speed. Three principles carried it: simplicity, control and ease of use.

For simplicity, a whitespace-driven layout, bold typography and a neutral palette with pastel touches give the interface a sharp, modern feel that is easy to take in.

For control, a clear call-to-action hierarchy and real UI mockups give visitors confidence and encourage them to interact without confusion.

For ease of use, product screens and benefit-driven illustrations make complex features feel approachable, while iconography and navigation keep visitors in flow.

The result: a website that keeps advisors focused on closing

Each design decision reinforces the core message: help advisors focus on closing, not troubleshooting. The result is an intuitive website that brings clarity to complexity and moves deals forward faster.
